In the real world we use rational numbers/fractions in many different ways. One way we use it is buy cooking and baking, sometimes when sharing food it leads to using rational numbers. If your sharing you've got to make sure everyone has an equal amount, so suppose there's 4 people and every one wants 2 pieces of pizza each; you would cut the pizza into 8ths. Meaning everyone would get 2/8 of the pizza each. And that my friend is how we use rational numbers in the real world.

Well, fractions are used in pizzas and pies to see how many people get equal slices. They're also used for juice content(100%) instead of sugar and milk with fat(2%). Fractions can be used when you are uploading something on the internet, for example, when you're updating or putting something new on your computer and it's shown loading on to your computer.

We use rational numbers all the time in the real world, for example when you are cutting a pizza or a pie. When you are planning a trip and thinking of how many miles you are driving (ex 400 1/2 miles). Cup measurements when cooking like, this recipe requires 3/4 cup of flour. That is basically what I would use fractions for.

We use fractions every day without even knowing it. For instance when we are cooking, your might have to put it 2/4 teaspoons of salt in a recipe. Or you might have to make 1/2 of a recipe of cookie dough. Also if you cut down a tree, you might have to cut it into 1/8 sections.

The way I think that rational numbers apply to the real world is when we cook to eat we sometimes use a measuring cup which applies to fractions. also when we use coins we some times use 1/4 ,2/4 ,3/4 , 4/4 to represent 25 ,50, 75, and 100. Those are all the ways I use rational numbers in the real world.

An example of how we use rational fractions/numbers in real life would be when your at the grocery store, if you want to measure the weight of something, the weight might be a rational fraction. Also, in the building industry, building homes and construction is used in measurement. Another example would be when a doctor prescribes medicine, they use ratios and fractions.

We use fractions every where in the real world. cutting stuff is a example you have to know how much each person gets of a slice of pizza or pie. And we use rational numbers in all sorts of ways also. A example is if your weighing a pound of turkey.

We use fractions and rational numbers all the time without realizing it. We use them in baking Ex. 1/3 a cup of flour. We also use them when we are cutting pizza or pie. We use them in measuring Ex. 3 and 1/2 inches or 3.5 inches. And we use rational numbers when taking ones temperature Ex. 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

I think fractions apply to the real world whenever we eat a Hershey Chocolate bar. I think this because the Hershey chocolate bar is separated into individual parts which when put together makes a whole.

Well fractions are used in the real world is cooking. We need to know the measurements in order to put the right ingredients in. Same with shoe sizes, we need to know what the measurements are to give the right shoe size. But you it is only a fraction when it there is a half like 8 1/2, which makes it a mixed number. We also use it when we are using time, sometimes. When we see that the time is 4:30 we don't say its four and a half, we say its four thirty but 4:30 is 1/2 an hour so if we think about it we are really using it when thinking of time.

People constantly use fractions in the real world. For example, when you're cooking you use fractions. Like, if there's half a cup of flour, or if there's three and a half tablespoons of water. Honestly, any time you see part of a whole, that's using fractions in the real world. Like, if you aren't done with something, but you're a third of the way through. Then, you could say that you have two thirds left.

We use rational fractions in everday life such as if you were a baker and had to split a pie into 8 equal slices. Or if you were working at a café and you have to fill a fraction of the cup

You can use rational numbers in world world like you use measuring cups to cook or an amount of something. Also you can use it in money. Say I was going to pay $20.00 for a $5.00 dollar object. I i would get 3/4 back out of the $20.00.

You use rational numbers when cutting a pizza into fractions, and whenever you are buying something it could be 20% off or 50%.

We use rational numbers and fractions in real life like cutting up pizza and splitting up money. Also we use them like paying bills and learning to use money.

You use rational numbers in real life for many things. you may need the for a sale at the store where you want to buy something and you have a coupon for half off and you would take away half of the price to get a better deal. same for in the mornings and at night for me i have to use a 1/2 cup for my dogs food and fill them up 2 times for her to have the right amount.
