I feel pretty neutral this quarter about math. Decimals are pretty easy, it just gets complex when they are really long or when dividing. Fractions I feel confident with, there is not really much I have trouble with. Integers and Variables I feel the most familiar and confident with, probably because I started working with algebra in 2nd grade. Slopes I need a lot of help with, as a warning for the future when we actually get into them.

Math this quarter has been great, I would have to say that all work done in quarter 1 is pretty easy cause most of it is just review. We've reviewed a lot and I'm glad we did because it refreshed my brain and it was like a new beginning again. I as a student learned many new things, and I'm glad that your the type of teacher that will push us to the limit to make sure we understand each and every part of math. There's plenty of things I need to improve on, but I'm not going to make a list; though the one thing that bothers me is that sometimes I doze off and get really tired instead of being focused on the learning objective of the day. I know that there will be more challenges and adventures along the way in math, yet I am eager to face what is to come. Thank you!

I feel like its the right level in math for me because some work can be challenging and some work is just my level. i prefer the challenging things because i feel that i work harder and am more determined to figure it out. I also prefer some things to be my level. I feel like I really like math so far this 9 weeks

So far, I am really enjoying math! Last year, I didn't really like math all that much. But now, I am really understanding it! What I am really liking is absolute value. To me, absolute value is one of the most easiest concepts. All you have to do is see if there is a negative sign or not. If there is, and its inside the two bars, then you don't count it. But if its outside the two bars, then you have to count it. I also liked today how you put us in centers. That was really fun! In math class, I don't particularly dislike anything. But what I would like to improve would be fractions, decimals, and percent's. But other than that, I am feeling like I am understanding pretty much everything.

This quarter has been pretty good. I like that Mrs. Baptist is so understanding and that when you don't understand something she tries to teach it to you a different way. I also like that we go over stuff from last year because over the summer you can forget a lot. Something that I dislike is that we have a lot of homework. I don't expect no homework at all but sometimes it feels just a tad bit overwhelming. Something I also dislike is that sometimes I feel that some of our class is a little distracting, I mean I can deal with it most times but I feel we could learn so much more and understand the concepts better, plus get out of class for dismissal earlier. So those are some of the things I liked and disliked over the 1 quarter.

This quarter I have learned about integers, PEMDAS, and rational numbers. These topics can be easy or hard if you don't know what you're doing. I have found combining like terms very hard in particular. I have grown quite fond of evaluating expressions. I need to practice recognizing rational numbers.

I feel really good about math. I have learned a lot over the past nine weeks. Some parts have been easy and others have been hard. My favorite thing we learned is fractions. I used to not like fractions but Mrs. Baptist has made learning fractions fun!

Math so far this year his been okay. I like Mrs. Baptist as a math teacher she is WAY better than my last math teacher. My feelings toward math have slightly changed, Instead of hating it I have a so-so attitude about. Something that I think would make math more interesting is a group project. I also feel like sometimes im overwelmed with homework from your class. Not only do I have homework in your class bit I have homework in other classes. But overall I feel like this quarterhas been great.

My feeling toward math is that is going to be manageable to do if i work hard and focus. I say that because last year it was kind of hard to focus in class so this year i want to do better.Something that i love is that we can ask any questions or comment about the topic. something that i dislike it that we don't get to chose our own group a lot.i want to improve my quiz grades.
