The m represents the slopes of a line. The b represents the y-intercept. I noticed that when you have a negative slope it always goes downhill. When you have a positive slope you go uphill. When you change the slope you get closer to the y-axis. When you change the y-intercept you change the point that the slope is on.

1. M the slope of the line so at the start 1.0. B is y intercept, at start 0.

1. Which number represents the slope of the line? Which number represents the y-intercept of the line? Slope : 1 Y-intercept : 0

4.0 represents the slope of the line. 6.0 represents the y-intercept of the line. I noticed that all the lines that have a negative slope are occuring between quadrant 2 and 4. All the lines that have a positive Occur between quadrant 1 and 3.When You Change the slope the line moves in a circular Shaped angle. When you change tne y-intercept the dot moues up and down.
