You have to know your scale of measurements also you need to know how to calculate how many feet that's in inches and how many inches arts in feet, and you need to know how to calculate it involving negatives.

I know that the colors purple, blue, and white represents where the snow is predicted to fall and the temptation with how much snow is going to fall in that area.

You need math to calculate the inches and measure the distance from each location to the other.

Add up all inches in each county and add them all up to se the estimaged amount of snow that are as is goin g to get and also measure the distances

You have to know the inches sign to know what they mean by 6"-9" of snow without understanding that you wouldn't know what they are talking about. You would also need to know how to read a map because if you didn't know then you wouldn't know what any of it met.
